If you were to change anything about the education system, what would it be?

I'm not going to make anything up here, as there's a good chance my made-up answer might get me into trouble. :) However, I would incorporated the following:

Comprehensive reporting on individual achievement
Educational field trips and school presentations
Individual attention in a small-class setting
Positive learning environment
