Infants
Our infant room serves children ages six weeks - 12 months providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment for babies to explore, learn, and grow.
Infant room ratios are one teacher for every four children.
Transition
The transition room is perfect for children 12 - 18 months and is designed specifically for this exciting age of exploring newly acquired skills like climbing and walking.

Toddler
The toddler room's curriculum of exploring and learning serves children 18 - 24 months. Our toddler teachers provide a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for toddlers to develop social skills, motor skills, and language abilities.

Twos
The two-year-old room at KWECC is a fun and safe space designed to foster creativity and development. We focus on promoting physical and emotional growth through interactive play, story-telling, and other age-appropriate activities.

Threes
The three-year old-room at KWECC is designed to foster learning and exploration in a safe and nurturing environment. Our experienced and caring teachers provide activities that encourage children to express themselves, build relationships, and develop their skills.

Four-Year-Old Pre-K
The four-year-old room at KWECC provides a safe and stimulating learning environment. Children are encouraged to interact with each other and participate in activities that help them build their independence, social and emotional skills, as well as their language and literacy.

every 10 children.
Participation in SWVPP (Statewide Voluntary Preschool Program) Free Four-Year-Old Preschool, Must be a resident of Iowa, 4 years old by September 15 and provide proof of age - birth certificate.
School Age
KWECC's Summer Camp Program is for children through kindergarten - age 11. We focus for the summer program is to give the school-age children an opportunity for an educational and fun summer experience by offering them field trips and a variety of fun activities. Each week there is a theme, and activities are coordinated with that theme in mind.
Families are given a summer schedule with dates, times, and additional charges for the field trips. Some of the activities include:
Swiss Valley Nature Center, Horseback Riding, Dubuque or Key West Fire Station, Dubuque Police Station, Splash Pad, History of Dubuque Trolley Ride, Creative Adventure Lab
