Health & Safety
Health and safety precautions at KWECC are of utmost importance to parents, teachers, and administrators. Creating a safe and healthy environment for the children to learn and grow is essential for their physical and mental well-being.
Taking the proper safety precautions, such as implementing proper hygiene protocols, ensuring the facilities are up-to-code, and providing safety equipment such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and CPR-trained staff, can help ensure the safety and security of the children. We also have an AED on-site and staff are trained to use it. All doors to the building have secure access.
Additionally, creating a safe and secure learning environment will help to protect the physical and mental health of children in our care, while providing them with the opportunity to explore and learn.
Security
There is a security system used for entrance to the building. Those seeking entrance to the building must be recognized by staff before being allowed to enter. If someone other than a designated person is picking up a child, prior notification must be given by parents/guardians and they will be asked by staff for photo identification.
All exterior doors are locked and entry is only accessible by our staff.
